Sending $T*54 to fire the trigger output.

Hi everyone,

Has anybody tried sending $T*54 or $T*FF to fire the trigger over a modem (X-Tend)
I have tried a few different ways but can't get it to work.
Please let me know if this works for you and how you did it.

Make sure:
1) the (ascii 13) is included after the checksum
2) the modem buffers are not clogged.

Also ensure that in SET you have the proper trigger controller (logic or servo PWM driver) and if a servo driver then the two positions are in SET, AND also (finally) that the trigger duration is setup in SET. if you still have problems e-mail me at dmgoedde@

Also, what version of firmware does your LOG tell you that your atto has? We might need to get you updated if you have a very old AttoPilot firmware. (when did you buy your Atto?)

Only a month late for the reply from me but......
You were right Dean!
When I changed the over air rate on the X-tend up to 115,200 it started to work.
Dam those clogging modem buffers. :)
