"Gosh, it's been a year! My browser gave up the idea of communicating with Ning some time ago. Just got a new browser and it works. So, here's an update: Conduit was a good stepping stone, but it was too heavy, I built an 82 oz copy with a…"

"Gary, This is my test patch. I covered the surface with wet silkspan using nitrate dope. After it had cured for a couple of days I peeled back a corner to test the adhesion. It has a reasonable grip on the EPP and it greatly increases strength.…"

"Photos of the 'Mother Ship' show the elevons beginning at about 30% of the span. Also they get wider at the tips. My present wing has full span elevons that taper toward the tips at the same rate as the overall wing taper. I'm…"

"Let the rib glue cure over night. I like the result. The 5mm rib makes a big difference. It combines with the carbon tubes to make a very rigid structure. Well worth the weight."

"Did a trial fit of the two panels. The angle of the pins, that fit into the carbon tubes, was too shallow. Bent them a little to fit. One panel has a flat surface, the other is slightly curved, so I glued the rib to the flat surface. Also,…"

"Gary, A pair of Hyperion 4000mah lipos gives me 20 minutes at 60 KMH with plenty left for reduced throttle landings. I belive out longest flight was 24 minutes at 6500mah. I could work with that and probably reduce speed to get up to 40 minutes but…"
