My Micro Aerial Vehicle plans

For a couple of years I have been playing with the RCAP autopilot.

A very simple and straight forward device.

In the words of Tim tool time Taylor, I need more power!

Right now I am working on a small airframe that I hope will prove durable.

The Attopilot will be integrated into that for use In Africa for game management activities.

Prawn Cracker

Very successful maiden flight of a new project, Prawn Cracker, the reason for the name has to be explained in person with a beer in hand.

Not only did it actually fly but…

Well done Adrian!!

Although not using an AttoPilot at work right now, Adrian who is a member here does use one in the UK for other things.

He is currently one of the Qinetiq pilots that has just broken the 7 day mark with the Zephyr solar airframe. It took off last Friday from Yuma and is set to fly for another week I believe.

Wallace would be proud!! Its Nigels launch-o-matic for the Manta wing.

Manta Flying Wing Bungee Launch from Nigel King on Vimeo.

I know Nigel has a bigger AXI motor and fairly heavy camera on board so its needs a shove to get going. I did'nt quite realise how it worked. Maybe he will give us more of a…

Thanks for your advise about line 101. did you mean that you think I can delete the line altogether? Or just raise it to a real high number?

Hi Gary! I am mzuri sana!. As you can see in the photo, my lab has a mess of wires and a few ex-aviation instruments. I had ideas to realise a VIRTUALISED cockpit. Secondly (and I feel I joined this forum too late) I intend to realise something close to a UAV, where and with whom, and with what do I start making those tiny things?
